Gymreapers
Gymreapers Wrist Wraps
- Length 18 in
- Weight 4.23 oz
- Approval IPF approved
- Material Polyester/elastic
IPF-approved support, a full 18 inches, and the most consistent feel in this set.
Gymreapers is the only wrap here with IPF approval, and that one word does a lot of work. If you compete under the IPF, it means the pair can go on the platform with you; if your lifting happens in a commercial gym, it mostly means the elastic and the stitching were held to a competition standard before the mark went on.
The wrap itself is 18 inches of polyester and elastic with a reinforced thumb loop and a hook-and-loop tab, which is the classic specification for a reason. There's enough material for most wrists to take two or three passes, so you can dial from firm for a working set to locked for a single. The pair is listed at 120 grams and disappears into a gym bag, and the thumb loop held position through full sessions without digging into the web of the hand.
What earns it the top spot is consistency. The support is firm without turning the wrist into a cast, and it feels the same on the first rep of a heavy set as on the fifth, which is the quality that actually matters once you start adding weight. We could still feel the bar path and adjust our setup between sets, and we never had to re-wrap mid-set.
If you want a wrap that fights back harder, the Rip Toned stiff is the stiffer pick here. Gymreapers sits a notch softer and covers more of what a normal training week throws at you, so it's the pair that goes to a meet and to an ordinary Tuesday alike.
Bottom Line
For lifters who want one pair that works in training and on a platform, the IPF-approved Gymreapers are the safest default here.
