About
Fitness That Fits Real Life.
NYC Fitness is a blog about making movement part of everyday life — around busy schedules, small spaces, neighborhood gyms and everything in between. We care about routines that last, not perfect setups.
We write about training, activewear, recovery and the choices that shape how we move. Sometimes that means a practical explanation; sometimes it means comparing products and spelling out the trade-offs. The goal is to help you make sense of a topic, whether or not you buy anything.
The NYC in our name is a point of view, not a boundary: practical, space-aware and ready for real life. You don't need to live in New York to feel at home here.
Our Editorial Approach
- Start with the question: We focus on what readers need to understand or do, not just what they might buy.
- Keep real life in frame: Time, space, fit, budget and consistency matter more than an idealized routine.
- Show our basis: For product guides, we consider specifications, available customer feedback and recurring complaints. We don't call something hands-on tested unless we actually tested it.
- Explain the trade-offs: A useful recommendation says who it suits, who might skip it and why.
- Revisit the details: We update articles when information changes or a recommendation no longer holds up.
Editorial Independence
Some articles contain affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those links do not determine what we write about or the conclusions we reach. Product recommendations should be useful because of their reasoning, not because a link pays us.
