YOSUDA
YOSUDA Water Rowing Machine
- Folding 180° fold with wheels
- Water Tank 22 L
- Item Weight 55 lb
- Max User Weight 400 lb
Biggest stated tank, tallest user fit, and the longest warranty here.
Twenty-two liters is the largest stated tank in this group, and it is the single reason the YOSUDA is the machine we hand most people. Volume is what you are really buying in a water rower: more water around the four-blade paddle means resistance that builds through the whole stroke instead of arriving in one thump, and it leaves headroom on the days you pull hard. It also gives a wider useful range to tune by fill level, which matters more than anything the monitor does.
The frame backs it up. Thirty-millimeter FSC-certified beech, a 400-pound rating, and the only published user height here — six foot six. We paid attention to that last number because tall rowers so often end up cramped at the finish on a short rail. At 55 pounds it is a one-person job to tip onto its wheels, and the 180-degree fold gives the floor back between sessions.
Where it edges past the Merach is the electronics and the paperwork. The monitor pairs over Bluetooth with Kinomap, Apple Health, and Google Fit rather than locking you into one app, and the warranty runs two years, the longest here. Filling is the low-tech part: there is a maintenance kit in the box but no electric pump, so the first setup is a bucket job. The foot straps are the other afterthought — thin webbing that takes a couple of tries to cinch — and cheap to replace if they ever go.
Bottom Line
We hand most people this one: the largest stated tank here, a two-year warranty, and Bluetooth that talks to the apps already on your phone.
